Hariyali - The Real Religion

We wanted to do more than one design this June, but alas! The World Cup is not letting me think a lot :) Sorry about that folks ... I really hope that you understand :)

The 'Hariyali' t-shirt has been going on in my head for quite some time ... the only hiccup was that with so many colors to print, I would have had to price it in the premium range (unlike the Rs. 200 price tag that went with the two earlier 'Greenizen' t-shirts).

Eventually, I decided not think too much about the price tag, and focus more on releasing a quality product. Hence, this t-shirt will come at a slightly higher price of Rs. 300/-, but we'll still donate 10% of the price (Rs. 30/-) to a  green cause (that will be decided by the good people at www.NgoPost.org - let the experts take care of the money spend).

After the witty 'Unearth' t-shirt that we did the last time, this third in the 'Greenizen' t-shirt series, is another hard-hitter (like the 1st Greenizen Tee) ...

This t-shirt begins as a story on the front ... bringing attention to the kind of petty differences that have been splitting humanity for ... years ... oops ... ages. The same words are tweaked on the back to draw the focus on the larger issue that we face today.

Makes sense?! It should to a few IQ-ish people who will see you wearing this tee, I guess!

The Front
An out-and-out Hindi t-shirt, the front poses the question, 'My Belief?' (Dharm/Mazhab) ... with two meditating eyes dpeciting some form of introspection.

The Back
While the front is questioning, the back is enlightening.

The thoughtful, meditating face is replaced by two leaves, bringing to light the real answers, the real goal-that-should-be. The question mark is replaced with an exclamation - not only after "Hariyali", but in the white text on the top as well.

Ofcourse, the wordplay from 'Hari-Ya-Ali' to 'Hariyali' lends the witful factor to this t-shirt!

Color
That's the toughest part of Toube Bas for me - to give you a sense of the color and the fabric. The internet won't allow me to.

But folks, take my word for it. The moment I saw the yellow color t-shirt myself, my jaws dropped! It's a beautiful canary color (remember the cute little Walt Disney tweety bird? Or the not-so-ugly duckling in Tom and Jerry?) ...

Combination
The yellow t-shirt will go very well with all shades of khakhi's, plus the world's favorite dress: denim blue jeans! Well, it's a positive, summer color ... it can go well with just about anything!
